Jared Q. Adams, P.E., is a civil engineering and construction management professional with more than 18 years of experience delivering complex infrastructure, development, and construction projects across the public and private sectors. His experience spans private development, federal infrastructure, municipal utilities, heavy civil construction, and military engineering, giving him a comprehensive understanding of projects from initial planning and design through construction, closeout, and final delivery.

Throughout his career, Jared has led multidisciplinary teams, managed contractors and consultants, developed project budgets and schedules, provided technical and construction oversight, and coordinated with clients, public agencies, and regulatory authorities. His experience includes managing 18 federal infrastructure projects totaling more than $20 million, programming more than $60 million in infrastructure improvements, and managing more than $15 million in active capital projects.

Jared is a licensed Professional Engineer in California, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Nevada, and Texas, and holds a California Class A General Engineering Contractor license. His background also includes service as a U.S. Air Force officer, where he led engineering and infrastructure operations, managed mission-critical projects, and developed multidisciplinary teams.

Jared’s perspective on leadership and service was shaped early in life. Both of his parents served in the military, and growing up in a military family gave him the opportunity to live in many diverse places and experience different communities and cultures. Those experiences helped shape his appreciation for people, adaptability, teamwork, and service; values he continues to bring to his professional work today.

Outside of engineering and construction, Jared is a devoted husband and father. He and his beautiful wife Shari have been married for 10 years and are raising their three children. When he isn’t working on projects, Jared enjoys spending time with his family and getting out on the water to surf.

Jared earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of New Mexico and was a member of Chi Epsilon Honor Society, a National Science Foundation Scholar, AGC Student Chapter President, and ASCE Student Chapter Treasurer. He also graduated Distinguished Graduate from the Academy of Military Science.
